"We used the English, Maths and civilization DVDs for our half term workshops and they were really useful. We appreciated the quality – easy to read! Also, the editing was helpful. The experience was new to the teachers and the editing meant that a lot could be viewed without too much inertia setting in! It gave us opportunities to watch and then share ideas, so experience could build up with each one and a lively pace could be maintained. "

"As part of my job role I am required to support teaching staff in improving their teaching techniques. Many of these staff deliver practical courses. Being able to use a video which includes practical demonstrations is a great way of standardising lesson observation grading for vocational tutors. I particularly liked the way the sessions on plastering was filmed and also the carpentry videos. Feedback from the sessions has been very positive about the videos so I will be definitely being using this resource again."
